The 1113 focused on a single project and therefore had no manual.  A single laminated schematic plus two descriptive laminated documents profiled the PCL86 tube and the project overall.  Annoyingly, no block trays were provided either but at least the needed power supply was.

The PCL86 is a miniature 9-pin triode-pentode vacuum tube combining a high-gain voltage amplifier triode and an audio output pentode in a single glass envelope.  It can also serve as an AM detector as it does in this circuit.

The FM block provided 88Mhz to 108Mhz reception with a monophonic audio signal going to the PCL86 amplifier tube with a speaker connected  to the latter’s output.
